EDWARDIAN BRONZE ANTIQUE
HALL LANTERN BY FARADAY & SON

DESCRIPTION

A superb quality Edwardian bronze antique hall lantern by Faraday & Son, with five baluster shaped columns and astragal mouldings to the frame with finials underneath and to the top. The lantern has a shaped domed canopy with clear cylindrical glass, which sits inside the frame.

The light hangs on an adjustable 50 cm bronzed chain and comes with bronzed ceiling rose hook. The lantern has been rewired and is in working order.

The lantern is stamped with the makers name - F&S (Faraday & Son)

Faraday was established by Robert Faraday in 1817, whose brother was the famous English scientist Michael Faraday. The company specialised in high quality gas fittings, ceiling lights, table lamps, wall sconces and floor lamps. The company became known as Faraday & Son in 1875

Small goods will be delivered within a couple of working days which are provided with a tracking number. Large items are delivered by a trustworthy carrier and we aim to deliver within two weeks of purchase but please allow three weeks.

We accept returns within 14 days providing the customer pays for the return and the item is in the same condition we sold it in and it is packaged well.
