LARGE EDWARDIAN BRASS SIX ARM CHANDELIER ATTRIBUTED TO FARADAY 

DESCRIPTION

An impressive Edwardian large cast brass antique chandelier attributed to renowned makers Faraday & Son. The chandelier has a vase shaped central column with bulbous body, terminating to six substantial scroll arms, finished with gadroon finial underneath.

 

The chandelier retains its original bronze finish which glows beautifully when illuminated. The light hangs on a 50cm chain, which can be shortened, and it comes with a 12.5cm wide ceiling rose hook.

The chandelier has been rewired, tested and is in working order.

Faraday was established by Robert Faraday in 1817, whose brother was the famous English scientist Michael Faraday. The company specialised in high quality gas fittings, ceiling lights, table lamps, wall sconces and floor lamps. The company became known as Faraday & Son in 1875

This item will be delivered by a trustworthy carrier and we aim to deliver within two weeks of purchase, but please allow three weeks.
