VICTORIAN MAHOGANY DROP DIAL WALL CLOCK BY JOSEPH MANSFIELD OF SHAFTESBURY
DESCRIPTION
A good quality early Victorian mahogany drop dial wall clock with decorative brass and string inlay to the front of the case with fluted moulding. The clock has a brass bezel and a 12 inch painted dish dial with Roman numerals.
The dial has the makers name -
Joseph Mansfield
Shaftesbury
The reverse of the dial has the dial painters name -Finnemore.
The movement is an eight day duration, single fusee with anchor escapement.
The movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
