VICTORIAN ANTIQUE CHINOISERIE ARMCHAIR IN THE QUEEN ANNE STYLE
DESCRIPTION
A stylish Victorian black lacquered walnut frame antique armchair in the Queen Anne style with chinoiserie hand painted designs and raised gesso detail. The back splat has red lacquered detail with scenes of a female dressed in traditional attire and a male also dressed traditionally playing the flute with hills, trees and a pagoda to the background. The cresting rail has finely hand painted gilt leaf design which cascades down the stiles which also has pagoda and tree embellishment.
The arms and supports terminate to a shaped apron which have gilt foliate design and male figures, finishing to shaped cabriole legs and pad feet which feature red lacquered pagodas, gilt trees and sailing boat.
The chair has a drop in seat which has been newly upholstered and covered in a gold tone chenille fabric and the frame is in lovely condition with wear consistent with age.

We accept returns within 14 days providing the customer pays for the return and the item is in the same condition we sold it in and it is packaged well.
