REGENCY CONVEX CARVED GILTWOOD WALL MIRROR
DESCRIPTION
A decorative giltwood wall mirror dating from the Regency period, with very good quality carvings of an eagle perched on rocks to the pediment, and a mythical seahorse to the base which is finished with leaf carving. The frame has cushion moulding with ball design, which is centred by its original circular convex mirror plate which measures 43 cm in diameter.
The frame retains its original water gilding.
