FRENCH EDWARDIAN MAHOGANY ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCK BY COUAILLET

DESCRIPTION

A good quality French Belle Epoque Edwardian mahogany antique mantel clock with lancet shaped top, inlaid satinwood fan and boxwood string inlay to the front of the case stood on brass ball feet. The clock has a white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and a French eight day duration movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a gong.

The dial has the retailers name - Mappin & Webb

The movement back plate is stamped with the makers name:
