FRENCH LOUIS XV STYLE BRASS GILT ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCK BY JAPY FRERES
DESCRIPTION
A very good quality French 19th century brass gilt antique mantel clock in the Louis XV style with scroll design throughout, floral bezel and foliate finial to the top.
The clock has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and an eight day duration movement with outside count wheel which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.
The movement back plate is stamped with the makers name -
