PAIR OF 19th CENTURY BRONZE GIRANDOLE WALL SCONCES
DESCRIPTION
A superb pair of French 19th century, cast bronze girandole wall sconces with bevelled mirror plates to the centre, bordered by decorative moulding. The girandoles have beautiful detail of oak leaves and acorns, scroll leaf design, oak leaf swags and floral ornamentation, along with female masks to the pediment. The three arms have scroll leaf detail with substantial candle sconces, which have gadroon moulding and shell design.
The bronze is stamped several times JJ 145
