GEORGIAN MAHOGANY SIDE TABLE
DESCRIPTION
A good quality George III figured mahogany bow fronted side or hall table with single drawer to the front. The drawer has satinwood banding with ebony and boxwood string inlay, decorative brass handles and brass escutcheon, and it retains its original lock and comes with a working key. The drawer is lined inside with green baize.
The top of the table has boxwood stringing and mahogany crossbanding to the edge, and the table has satinwood fan inlay to the apron, and stands on square tapering legs which also have boxwood string inlay.
