FRENCH BRONZE GILT & PORCELAIN ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCK
DESCRIPTION
An excellent quality French bronze gilt antique mantel or table clock from the Victorian period. The finely cast case has beaded detail, acanthus leaf and egg and dart moulding, half round fluted columns to the sides and applied corner foliate design to the front finished with finials and urn to the top.
The clock has colourful hand painted inset porcelain panels within a blue and gilt border and a hand painted porcelain dial with Roman numerals. The movement is a French eight day duration which strikes the hours and half hour on a bell.
The movement back plate is stamped with the makers name:-

Certain small and light items will be delivered within a couple of working days which are provided with a tracking number and are usually next day delivery services. They are packaged to a high standard, double boxed, bubble wrapped and bedded in foam. Our preferred courier is Parcelforce, however we may send with a different courier occasionally. Larger and heavier items are delivered by a trustworthy carrier and we aim to deliver within two weeks of purchase, but please allow three weeks. We use smaller carrier companies which take a bit longer but we would rather your item arrives at your door safely. Like our small items, our larger items are packaged well and protected.
